Fred Fehlau [Team Chair] is Provost at Art Center in Pasadena, CA. Previously, Fred served as Dean of Academic Affairs, Chair of the Foundation Studies Department, Chair of the Senior Education Committee, Interim Chair of the Graphic Design Department, and full-time faculty, teaching in Fine Art, Foundation Studies, Illustration, Graphic Design, Photography, Liberal Arts & Sciences, and Graduate Media Design. During 2010-2011, he was a member of the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) Board of Directors. Fred has exhibited his painting and sculpture internationally in both museums and private galleries and is in the permanent collections of MOCA, MoMA, LACMA, the Newport Harbor Art Museum, and the Smithsonian and Corcoran Gallery of Art. He has published both criticism and essays in various art journals, magazines and catalogues and has acted as a curator for a number of group exhibitions. His graphic design clients include Mattel, Avery Dennison, and LA Style and Arts & Architecture magazines, amongst others. Fred holds a BFA and MFA with honors in Fine Arts from Arts Center.
